I hope you like this look. I had a great time shooting in the photos in Central Park.
I want to wish everyone a happy holiday season !
Burgundy is one trendiest colors right now and we can easily see why. It is a great alternative for the ever bright red and it’s deep tones speaks of sophistication, sultry and warmth. It is also a great color to layer with black and grays tones, which are usually a staple color in many winter wardrobes, including mine.
For this look, I layered a cashmere burgundy sweater by Club Room, (which maybe a men’s sweater) with an open black and white cardigan from Boohoo. The burgundy is a nice contrast against the black and white that is throughout the rest of the look. The cardigan is also long enough to cover the sweater and bottom which helps elongate the upper half of the body.
A mini panel skirt from Mandee was paired with the tops, we chose a straight skirt and paired the outfit with a pair of Marc Fisher over the knee suede boots that we scored from Macy’s shoe sale event. A burgundy scarf and a black beanie were added as both were much needed for additional layers of warmth. A vintage 1950’s leather handbag by Jana topped off the outfit and added an old touch. This look can be worn from day to night, from the park straight to dinner or a get-together.
