I finally visited LA recently. I’ve been to the west coast before but never the Los Angeles area. Needless to say, I was excited but somehow relaxed at the same time, with no great expectations when arriving. I came to California with open arms for a vibing good time.
I stayed in Koreatown, a great location, both for walking and driving to the different areas. Almost every corner in LA is photo ready. I really appreciate all the nature and plant life surrounding. It’s inspiring to be around. The hills also give such depth and personality to the land. It’s hard to not love such a beautiful city.
Spending the day in Venice Beach was my favorite day. We rented bikes and rode along the bike path up to the Santa Monica pier then back down Venice Beach. What a fun way to see more of the area and enjoy the outdoors. We also explored the Hollywood Hills, Malibu and Downtown LA, including the shops in The Alley. Special thanks to my friend Isis, for being a great tour guide and host. All in all the visit to LA was a dose of freshness I needed.
Below are some of my photos from the trip. Not pictured are all the great meals, Sunset Strip, and the bars we went to.
